June Owens Linville McDonald, a resident of Cowarts, AL, died Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was 75.

 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 10 A. M. from the Chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home Directing.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 6 until 8 P. M. at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Diabetes  Foundation or Kidney Foundation.

 

Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Katie Bell Owens, her sisters, Margaret Trawick and Katie Mae Barr and her brother, Herman Owens.

 

Survivors include her husband, Leon McDonald of Cowarts, Daughters, Vicky S. Meadows and husband Danny of Dothan; Brenda J. Proctor and husband Bill of Ashford; Sons, Ricky H. Linville of Gordon ; Ralph Linville and wife Sarah of Dothan; Randy Linville and wife Tracy of Cowarts and Michael McDonald of Dothan.

Sister Victoria Stinson of Dothan and brother, Neal Owens and wife Mildred of Headland. Eleven Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
