June Pratt McDaniel was a caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world to be with our Lord and Savior on November 8, 2023 at age 85.




She was born to Hoke Sr. and Pearl Pratt in Atlanta, GA. on October 1, 1938. She moved to Dothan, AL at an early age and attended Rehobeth High School. She had four children: Donna Kay, Ronnie, Terri, and Joseph. After retiring from General Telephone and Electronics (GTE), she helped her son and daughter with their dance studios and was secretary at Pathway Baptist Christian School.


Later she stayed busy with her many grandchildren, the light of her life.

She was a very active mother in her children and grandchildren’s’ lives, supporting them in their many dreams and activities. She was also loved by the many children’s lives she touched who knew her as Ms. June from the dance studio and Pathway Baptist Homeschool. She will be greatly missed and remembered.




A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held Sunday, November 19th at 2:00pm at Pathway Baptist Church, where she was a charter member, at 3551 Flowers Chapel Road, Dothan AL 36305. Visitation to immediately follow.




She is survived by: Sons Ronnie Devane and Joseph McDaniel; Daughter Terri D. Granger; Grandchildren; D. Keith Granger II D.O, (Meagan), Hoke Granger, Gabriel Granger (Megan), Colton Granger, Terri-June Sposito (Alex), Analise Granger, Cassandra Prichard, Zoe Devane; Great Grandchildren; Wilder and Stratton Granger; Brother; Hoke Pratt Jr.; Sisters Pat McDuffie and Ann White.




She is preceded in death by: Parents Hoke S. Pratt and Pearl Pratt; Daughter Donna Kay Devane; Son in law D. Keith Granger M.D.; Grandchildren Vi Prichard and Caleb Pichard; Brothers Billy Pratt and Dan Pratt.




Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to Pathway Baptist Church in Memory of June McDaniel. Family floral arrangements are being entrusted to House of Flowers 334-699-1800.
