MIDLAND CITY…Kameron Preston Norris, a resident of Midland City, died Thursday morning, September 13, 2018. He was 27.


     Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 16, 2018, in the Mt. Enon Baptist Church with Reverend Kenneth Preston, Pastor John Hunt and Reverend Colt Hudson officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 P.M. Sunday in the church sanctuary.


     Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.


     Kameron Norris was born on September 11, 1991 in Dothan, Alabama. He was reared in the Mt. Enon Community, between Midland City and Echo, and lived there most of his lifetime. Kameron was a 2010 graduate of Dale County High School and was a member of the Mt. Enon Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rex and Marjorie Preston and Foy Norris.


     Surviving relatives include his mother, Lisa Preston, Midland City; his father and step-mother, Karon and Debbie Norris, Andalusia; two sisters, Chancey Sayers (Dustin) and Savannah Turner, all of Midland City; his brother, Kade Norris, Cross City, FL; his grandmother, Loyse Norris, Andalusia; four nieces, Kadelynn Norris, Ansleigh Sayers, Gracyn Sayers and Braelyn Sayers; a nephew, Kaden Norris; several aunts and uncles.
