Kathleen Joanne Krich Howell of Samson, AL passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. She was 76 years old.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.

Kathleen was born in Cleveland, OH on March 28, 1947, to the late George and Alma Gundlach Krich. She loved spending time with her family, working on her farm, and taking care of her animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Jonathan Benton.

She is survived by four daughters, Michelle Spears Welch (Jeff) of Westville, FL, Janet Massey (Paul) of Hartford, AL, Carie Olsen (Matt) of Statesboro, GA, and Jennifer Koch (Scott) of Fruita, CO; 13 grandchildren, Brandy Davis (Joseph), Kelly Davis, Ryan Massey, Jase Massey, Luke Massey, Lori Spears, Ana Hunt (Nick), Kera Olsen, Maia Olsen, Josh Koch (Kali), Austin Koch, Sara Koch, and Zachary Koch; nine great grandchildren, Keira, Vanessa, Wyatt, Mason, Autumn, Kinsley, Elijah, Elliot, and Helena.
