Kathy Lynn Reese, a resident of Napier Field, gained her angel wings on March 10, 2021. She was 59.
A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Kathy was born on September 16, 1961 in Georgia to Stanley and Phyllis Blackman. She had a beautiful spirit and a smile that would light up a room. Kathy lived every day on her journey of life to the fullest. She found joy in dancing, socializing, and spending time with Tom, the love of her life and their large group of friends. One of Kathy's favorite things to do was to ride her motorcycle "Journey" any chance she could get. She loved her daughters with everything she had. Kathy was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Thomas "Tom" Reese; her two daughters, Heather Frierson (Douglas Hennenfent) and Ashley Frierson; her mother Phyllis Blackman; her siblings, Denise (Buddy) Burdick, Stanley (Marga) Blackman Jr., Gary Blackman, and Randy (Amy) Blackman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
