Keith Dewayne Powers of Chipley, FL, formerly of Samson, Al, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018. He was 60 years old.

 A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 06, 2018 at Vision Church of Santa Rosa Beach, FL with Pastors DeWain Cook, Jack Chancey and Tom Hamon officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday.

Keith was born on September 03, 1958 to the late Raymond Cohen and Mariongold Nelson Powers. His passion for the outdoors led him into sports such as biking, swimming, running, hiking, canoeing, and rock climbing. Keith was a very loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed  spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was a faithful member of Vision Church in Santa Rosa Beach; FL. Prior to his retirement, Keith was an X-Ray technician for a number of years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Norris Powers and one sister, Nita Traylor.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Patricia Lancaster Powers of Chipley, FL; five children, Jason Findley of Ponte Vedra, FL, Jon Findley of Denver, CO, Susan Beaver (Michael) of Orange Park, FL, Evan Powers of Eugene, OR and Tessa Powers of Carteret, NJ, eight grandchildren , Lilyanne Beaver, Madison Findley, Amelia Beaver, Nina Findley, Lian, Aidan, Kieran and Fin Beaver, one brother, Gary Powers of Colorado Springs, CO, one sister-in-law, Brenda Powers of Mobile, AL, four special  nieces, Angie Thompson, Stephanie Weatherly, Kristen Shadden and Tracy Johnson.
