Kendrick Chad Freeman

 

         Kendrick Chad Freeman, a resident of Dothan passed away September 7, 2021 at Southeast Health.  He was 22.

        Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021, 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Midland City, AL with Pastor Bobby Bennett presiding.  Visitation will be Wednesday September 15, 2021 at Family First Funeral Care Chapel (965 Woodland Drive, Dothan, AL) from 5-7 p.m. 

        Chad also known as “Nook” was a member of Greater Bethlehem Baptist Church in Midland City, AL.  He attended Northview High School and later went on to be a floorer.  He had a passion for flooring and gained the name “OCHO Hardwood” for his excellence in the industry.  Chad also enjoyed spending time playing with his son as well as playing his video game.  

        Chad was preceded in death by his beautiful mother Blanche Carroll Mitchell. 

        He leaves to cherish his memory, his father Joe Earl Freeman, Bonus Mother; Melonnie Clay, His son; Kamari Chad Freeman, his Finance’ Erica Cook, 3 brothers Marvex (Shaletha) Mitchell, Robert (Latonya) Carroll, and Joseph Reynolds along with one sister Chernetra Freeman, a God sister; Tyleiga Lee, and a host of other relatives, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
