Kenneth Edward Dillard

Kenneth Edward Dillard, a resident of Pansey, AL passed away at his residence on Friday, September 24, 2021. He was 69.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 1:00 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Lasseter and Bimbo Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Enterprise Baptist Church Cemetery in Ashford, AL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30-1:00 pm on the day of the service.

Kenneth was born on May 1, 1952 in Ashford, AL to the late James Edward and Lavada Nichols Dillard. He was a graduate of Ashford High School. Kenneth was a dedicated, lifelong farmer. Throughout his life, he enjoyed drag racing, fishing, dove hunting and watching Alabama football. Kenneth was married to the love of his life, Penny, for 49 years.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Roger Dillard; and his sister, Annette Watkins.

Survivors include his wife, Penny Dillard; his children, Lori (Rafe) Culp and Kristina Dillard (Matt) Davis; his grandchildren, Lindsey Culp, Chandler Davis and Samuel “Toot” Davis; his brother, Garry (Tina) Dillard; his sisters, Sue (Robert) Harden, Rhonda Conrad, Laurada (Danny) Ellison and Evelyn (Phil) Cox; his brother-in-law, Ed Watkins; and several nieces and nephews.
