Kenneth Lee “Ken” Berry of Bonifay, FL passed away on January 23, 2023. He was 62. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Bro. Truman Scarborough officiating. Burial will follow in Whitewater Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 1:00 p.m. Most of Ken’s adult life was spent on the road as a long-haul truck driver, beginning at the age of 19. His passion was pulling a bull wagon, hauling cattle. His CB handle was “Superman”. He has traveled to most every state in the country where he has many memorable stories to tell of life on the road. He made lifelong friends, many of whom credit him for teaching them to drive a semi. Health issues forced him off the road in 2014. He never lost his love for big rigs and kept in touch with his trucking friends. Ken lived a simple life. He loved his grandchildren, family, and friends. Ken is preceded in death by his father, Norman Lee Berry on December 30, 2022. Ken is survived by his mother, Vivian Adair of Geneva, AL; one son, Jason Berry(Joanna); two grandchildren, Cash and Everly Berry all of Hartford, AL; two sisters, Patty McCormick (Ray) of Freeport, FL, Lisa Powell (Joey) of Enterprise, AL; niece, Maci Wilks of Geneva, AL; stepmother, Joann Berry of Bonifay, FL; stepsisters, Robbie Mitchell of Guntersville, AL, Pam Carmichael of Enterprise, AL, Wanda Pope (Rodney) of Bonifay, FL, and Sandra Ausley (Todd) of Geneva, AL; numerous step nieces and nephews and step great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Timmy Steverson, Chase Palmer, Mark Enfinger, Ronnie Brown, Kenneth Smith, Woody Wiggins, Kerry McLaney and David Barcliff. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Hall, Dan Hartzog, Shawn Harris, Donnie Steverson and Mike Hutto.
