Kenneth Ned Bagwell, 85, a resident of Dothan, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at his residence. He was born on November 26, 1934 in Dale County to the late Wilburn Bagwell and Eva (Grantham) Bagwell.

 

Funeral Services will take place 2 PM, Monday, October 12, 2020 in the chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

 

Kenneth was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He worked as a Barber for 40 years. He and his wife both taught Sunday School for 40 years at Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Kenneth took pride in taking care of his family. He proudly served in the Unites States Navy and the National Guard.

 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by eight siblings and a son, Ned Bagwell.

 

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 63 years; Jean (Kelly) Bagwell, daughter, Cynthia (Gary) White, son, Curtis Eugene Bagwell, grandchildren, Stephen Fischer, Jade Bagwell, and Logan Bagwell along with many nephews, nieces, and loving family members.
