ABBEVILLE…Kenneth Paul "Kenny" Holmes, a resident of Abbeville, died Wednesday, November 7, 2018. He was 52. 


                     Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 12, 2018 in the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel with Neal Wells officiating, and a eulogy will be given by Donnie Payne, Tribe of Judah Motorcycle Ministry. Burial will follow in the Abbeville Memorial-East Cemetery, Abbeville.  Derek L. Wright and Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. 


                    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brown’s Crossroads Masonic Lodge #529, 202 Melissa Street, Midland City, Alabama 36350. 


                   Mr. Holmes was a native and lifelong resident of Abbeville. He was President of the local Outlaw Motorcycle Club Chapter and was a member of the Brown’s Crossroads Masonic Lodge #529. Kenny was currently employed with M1 Ft. Rucker Support Services at Hangar 201, Apache Project M1. He was an avid fisherman. 


                  Survivors include his parents, Benny Paul Holmes and Helen Cutchens; his brothers, Keith Holmes (Daphne) and Kent Holmes (Beth); his nephews, Justin Holmes and Cody Odom; his nieces, Aubrey Holmes and Courtney Odom, all of Abbeville. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.  


                  Serving as active pallbearers will be his Outlaw Brothers.
