Kerry Allen Laseter, age 61, a resident of Cottonwood, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021, at Southeast Health.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Michael Woodham and Ronald Vann officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:45 until 10:45 prior to services. Burial will follow in The Mount of Olives Memorial Garden in Cottonwood with Reverend Richard Smith officiating.

Kerry was born October 3, 1959, in Tampa, Florida to Lynn and Imogene Laseter. He soon moved to Houston County and attended Cottonwood Schools until the 8^th grade, he then transferred to Dothan High School, where he graduated. Kerry was self-employed with his janitorial business. He loved cooking and was known for his famous barbecue sauce. Kerry enjoyed singing gospel music, and spending time with his wife and son. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cottonwood.

Kerry is preceded in death by his parents, Lynn and Imogene Laseter.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Karen Oden Laseter; a son, Kody Laseter; a brother, Ricky Laseter (Diane); a twin brother, Terry Laseter; sisters Davia Ray (Bill), Martha Campbell, Deborah Vann (Ronald); several nieces and nephews.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Anthony Myers, Joshua Myers, Andy Proctor, Chris Proctor, Tyler Proctor, Tony Ray, James White, and Tony Myers.

Honorary pallbearers will be the employees at Kindred Hospice.
