OBITUARY

WEBB, ALABAMA. . .Kim Brown, a resident of Webb, Alabama, died early Sunday morning, January 13, 2019, in Southeast Health. She was 55.

            Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 16, 2019, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Joel Laseter officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the mortuary in Headland.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1449 Medical Park Drive, Birmingham, AL 35213.

            Kim Brown was born in Mechanicsville, Virginia and was reared in Oklahoma. She lived in Dothan before moving to Webb in 2007. She received a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Troy University. Kim was currently employed as the City Clerk for the town of Midland City and was formerly employed as City Clerk for the town of Webb. She was a member of the Webb Baptist Church. Kim was preceded in death by her sister, Sylvia Boggs

            Surviving relatives include her fiance’, William Frank “Bill” Thomas, Sr., Webb, AL; a daughter, Tara Brown Courtney (Cody McVay), Ft. Gibson, OK;  four grandchildren, K’Leigh Morris, Kinley Brown, Ciarra McVay and Cali McVay; and a step-grandchild, Joshua McVay; her special  “Mama Ruby”, Ruby Jackson of Webb, AL. and also a brother.
