OZARK… Kim Denise McGowan Brown, a resident of Ozark, died early Tuesday morning, February 20, 2024, at her home. She was 55.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 24, 2024, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Senn officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home of her brother, Harold McGowan, 130 CR 569, Ewell.
Kim, daughter of the late Herman McGowan and Josephine Hayes McGowan, was a native and lifelong resident of Ozark. She retired due to disability as the assistant manager of Grocery Outlet in Ozark. Kim enjoyed and loved her entire family, especially her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Ronnie McGowan, Jr.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Chris Little, Ozark; two brothers, Harold McGowan (Cathy), Ewell and Ronnie McGowan (Julia), Skipperville; nieces and nephews, Jimmy McGowan (Jana), Amanda Chancey (Ryan), Shantee Lomaneck (Tony), Alicia Alvey (Jamie), Haley Blackmon (Blake), and Michael McGowan; great nieces and nephews.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Michael McGowan, Jamie Alvey, Tony Lomaneck, Blake Blackmon, Dewayne Hayes, and Gage McGowan.
