Richard Lane Williford, age 57, of Dothan, AL, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. 

A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Covenant United Methodist Church in Dothan, AL, with Rev. Kyle Gatlin officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 until 1:30 on Saturday prior to service time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Victory, 363 Victory Circle, Samson, AL, 36477.

Lane was born April 15, 1961, in Memphis, TN, to Robert Woodrow and Bonnie Cole Williford.  He was a manager at FedEx Ground for 25 years.  Lane enjoyed hunting, fishing, LSU and Troy football games and his dogs.  Mr. Williford was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church in Dothan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert Tipton Williford and a sister, Janet Patrice Diffee.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Patricia Richburg Williford, 2 sons, Josh Williford of Birmingham, AL and Garret Williford of Troy, AL; 1 brother, Kenneth Williford (Lynn) of Sommerville, TN; several nephews; special friends, Ronnie and Laura Taylor, Dr. Mark Choquette and wife Celeste and Sheriff Donald Valenza and wife Margaret; and his beloved Mollie Grace.
