Larince Starling Jinright, age 74, of New Brockton, AL, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at his home in the Woodland Grove community after an exhaustive battle with cancer.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Brother Ronnie Stuckey officiating and Mr. Jinright’s granddaughter, Shelby Boswell, delivering the eulogy.  Burial will follow in Woodland Grove Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, August 25, 2017 from 5 – 7 p.m.

 

Mr. Jinright was born July 5, 1943, in Wilkinstown, AL.  He served in the Army National Guard for 39 years and worked many years as a general contractor.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larince and Evie Jinright; son, Ashley Ray Jinright; brother, Charles Ray Jinright; and sister, Nellie Ree Jinright Smith.

 

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Jinright; three children: Scott Jinright (Denise), Joseph Jinright (Charlotte), and  Shannon Boswell (Thomas); four grandchildren: Michael Jinright, Cody Jinright, Shelby Boswell (Harrison Reeves), and Kyle Boswell (Chelsea); five brothers: Rayford Jinright (Susan), Robert Jinright (Jackie), Edward Jinright (Nickie), Kenith Jinright (Cheryl), and Earl Jinright (Teresa); sister, Theresa Jinright Hughes (David); numerous nieces and nephews.
