Larry Dean Taylor of Geneva, AL passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at his home. He was 77 years old.  

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2021, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Eunola Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Larry was born in Oakland, CA on March 24, 1944, to the late James and Edna Neff Taylor. Mr. Taylor proudly served his country in the US Army and National Guard for 28 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed whittling, drawing, painting, and putting Legos together with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Joyce Taylor; one daughter, Pamela Kay Taylor Wagnon; and one brother, Mark Taylor.

He is survived by one son, James Taylor (Rachel) of Geneva, AL; four grandchildren, Dalton Wagnon, Amy Dixon (Cobie), Brianna Taylor and Stephanie Taylor all of Geneva, AL; four great-grandchildren, Braylee, Savannah, Bella, and Sterling; one brother, Tom Taylor.
