Larry Oliver Seay of Dothan, AL passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, in a Dothan Hospital. He was 83 years old.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Wesley Chapel Methodist Church in Enterprise, AL with Rev Steve Reneau officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Geneva from 1-2 p.m., prior to departing for the cemetery.

Larry was born in Coffee County, AL on November 27, 1940, to the late Early Oliver and Eunice Inez Sellers Seay. Larry lived in the group home at the Vaughn Blumberg Center in Dothan, AL for most of his adult life. He attended school there where he enjoyed dancing, singing, and playing sports. He was also an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Fan. Larry was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Dothan as long as his health permitted.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Lois Johnson; four brothers, Harvey, Jerry, Ronnie, and David Seay.

He is survived by two sisters, Doris Bryan of Geneva, AL, Linda Prater of Enterprise, AL; one brother, Gary Seay (Marie) of Taylor, AL; three sisters-in-law, Susan R. Seay of Geneva, AL, Susan D. Seay of Dothan, AL, and Anita Seay of Robbinsville, NC; and many special nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to DaySpring Hospice, Vaughn Blumberg Center and Mrs. Sheila and her staff at the group home, where he lived, and to Southeast Health for your care of our loved one.

Serving as pallbearers will be his nephews.
