Laura Kimberly Grimes of Chancellor passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020.  She was 49.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2020, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva.  Burial will follow at Bellwood Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Kim was born in Titusville, FL on February 12. 1971, to Samuel Kenneth Grimes and the late Barbara Ann Tipton. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, George Leonard Tipton; maternal grandmother, Hedda Pearl Berger; mother, Barbara Ann Tipton; paternal grandmother, Mary Alice Gillman; and uncle, Charles LaDale Grimes.

She is survived by her paternal grandfather, William C. Grimes father, Samuel Kenneth Grimes; maternal aunt, Mary Jane Tipton; stepmother, Chae Hwa Woo; three stepbrothers, Donnie Tart, Andrew Tart, and Joshua Tart; and a stepsister, Kristen Tart.
