Mrs. Leecy Wynell Shiver Dale of Geneva, AL passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024. She was 75.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mims Hill Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.

Mrs. Dale was born in Geneva County, AL on October 14, 1948, to the late James Franklin, Sr. and Susie Janelle Mims Shiver. She had a deep and devoted love for her family and friends. She enjoyed photography, teaching, traveling, Thomas Kincaid art, collecting Precious Moments figurines, anything to do with ladybugs and all things “sweet”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Earl Dale; son, Larry Allen Dale and one brother, John Barry Shiver.

Mrs. Dale is survived by one son, James O’Neil Dale (Lara) of Geneva; their children, Emily Dale Kennington (Kyle) of Enterprise, Elizabeth Dale Taylor (Alex) and Ella Grace Dale, all of Geneva; daughter-in-law, Cherie Wimmer Dale of Provo, UT, her children, Nathan Tyler Dale (Brittany) of Eagle Mountain, UT, Devan James Dale of Pleasant Grove, UT and Marissa Nichole Dale of Provo, UT; two brothers, Jimmy Gordan Shiver (Bonzie) and James Franklin Shiver, Jr. (Kelly), all of Geneva; one great grandson, Jack Larry Dale of Eagle Mountain, UT.
