Lenora Stewart Laidacker of Geneva, AL passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020. She was 80 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2020 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Baine officiating. Her son-in-law, Jason Gerstner will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Vaughnville Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Lenora was born in Hartford, AL on October 19, 1939 to the late Grady and Emma Loucretia Meadows Stewart. Ms. Laidacker loved to cook and crochet. She was such an outgoing person and was a wonderful caregiver to her family. Her iPhone was her lifeline. She enjoyed keeping up with her friends and knowing what was going on.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dorrance Laidacker; one grandson, Michael Bohner; one sister, Billie Jean Stewart.

She is survived by eight children, Calvin Commander of Westville, FL, Janet Commander Posadas (Rafael) of Nederland, TX, Linda Foulds (Rodney) of Herndon, PA, Janette Scroggins (Matthew) of Samson, AL, Dorrance Wallick of Bradenton, FL, Jeannie Calhoun (Larry) of Geneva, AL, Judy Sayre (Buddy) of Geneva, AL and Jackie Gerstner (Jason) of Enterprise, AL; grandchildren, Zack Commander, Brandon Commander, Bractin Commander, Hilary Swierc, Eric Posadas, Vianna Posadas, Vanessa Foulds, Andrew Foulds, Brandon Foulds, Johnathon Bohner, Sylvia Shankle, Chelsie Hall, Nate Calhoun, Delaney Reynolds, Danna Reynolds, Emeri Gerstner, Emily Wallick and Jonathon Wallick;  nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Low Merle Venable, Nancy Cooper and Janice Rush.
