Lewis Dean Horsley, 89, a resident of Dothan, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Signature Health in Marianna.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Lewis was born January 18, 1931 in Dale County to Lewis and Leila Patterson Horsley and grew up in the Daleville area. He worked at Sports Supply  as a salesman for 20 plus years and was a veteran of U.S. Army. Mr. Horsley was a member of Mt. Enon Baptist Church.

Lewis is predeceased by his parents, a brother, Billy Horsley, sisters, Jean Lee and Myra Calandra.

Survivors include wife of 67 years, Retha Monk Horsley of Graceville, Florida; three sisters, Amelle Hammick of Dothan, Betty Ray Tingle of Dothan and Faye Toti of Jacksonville, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
