CLOPTON . . .Lewis Everett Hulett, Jr., a resident of the Clopton Community, died Sunday morning, February 10, 2019, at his home. He was 53.

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 13, 2019, in the Living Water Church, near Echo, with Pastor Chris Brown, Reverend Winford Gulledge  and Reverend Christopher Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Bells Crossroads Cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the mortuary in Headland.

     Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

     Mr. Hulett was born in Duval County, Florida and lived in Skipperville from 1987 until 2018 when he moved to Clopton. He was a member of the Living Water Church. Mr. Hulett was retired from the Alabama Department of Corrections as a Corrections Lieutenant. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Everett Hulett, Sr.

     Surviving relatives include his wife, Phoebe Gulledge Hulett; a daughter, Heather Hulett (Fiance’, Cameron Price), Clopton; two sons, Lewis (Trey) Hulett, Skipperville; and Casey Earl Hulett (Annette), Ozark; his mother, Julia Ann Dutton, Fitzgerald, GA; two sisters, Patricia McCoy, Fitzgerald, GA; and Elise Hulett, BelCourt, ND; three brothers, Paul Hulett, Fitzgerald, GA; Bobby Hulett (Rae), and Melvin Frank (Melissa), all of BelCourt, ND; four grandchildren, Cheyanne Hulett, Hunter Hulett, Adalynn Hulett and Ava Hulett and a baby to be born on the way.

     Serving as active pallbearers will be Casey Hulett, Trey Hulett, Cameron Price, Hunter Sanders, Donnie Butler and Billy Blue.
