            Mrs. Lila Weeks Hidle of Chancellor, AL passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in Enterprise, AL.  She was 88.

            Funeral services will be at 11 am Friday, March 16 at the First Assembly of God Church in Enterprise with Rev. Billy Cardwell, Rev. Hollis Bradley, and Rev. Harold Hidle officiating.  Graveside services will be at 1:30 pm at the Weeks Assembly of God Cemetery, County Road 480, Kinston.  The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 10 am until service time.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Weeks Assembly of God Church cemetery fund.

            Mrs. Hidle was born October 16, 1923 in Coffee County to the late John Allen and Roxie Crews Weeks.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hubert Holley, and her husband of 33 years, Rev. C.C. Hidle; sister, Merle Sasser; brother, Lelon Weeks; step daughter, Barbara Hidle Strickland.

            Survivors include a nephew, Allen Weeks, Kinston, AL; niece, Melinda Grimsley, Box Springs, GA; sisters-in-law: Grace Weeks, Merlene Dunn, Joanne Milton; brother-in-law, Joe Howard Holley; 2 great nieces; 2 great nephews; step daughters: Martha Webb, Montgomery, AL, Mary Little (Harold), Hope Hull, AL; step sons: Lawton Hidle (Martha), Ft. Worth, TX, Charles Hidle (Gloria), Columbus, GA, Harold Hidle (Nancy), Columbia, TN; step son-in-law, Billy Strickland (Maria), Springfield, MO; special friend, Joyce Melton Clark; 11 step grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
