Lillie Mae Churchwell Burch (89) went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on October 2, 2021. She was at her daughter's home in Brighton, Colorado. Ms. Burch was born March 24, 1932 in Samson, Alabama to the late Will and Viola Churchwell.

Services will be on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Pondtown Church with a graveside committal service following at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Donna Cumbee will officiate and Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Homes will direct. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larue Burch; a daughter, Connie Gill; and a son-in-law, John Gill.

She is survived by her son, Mike Burch (Monica); 2 daughters, Debra Wilkes (Colon), and Rita Burch; grandchildren, DeeAnn Tindell (Greg), Joe Booker (Alicia), Ricky Booker (Kim), Shawn Burch, Derick Burch, Felisha Engelhard (Elden); 20 great grandchildren; and a host of neices and nephews.
