Lillie Pearl Anderson formerly of Geneva passed away on Sunday, March 04, 2018 at the home of her granddaughter in Cottonwood, AL. She was 87 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at New Life Pentecostal Ministries with Rev. David Holt and Bro. Michael Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Coffee County, AL on January 28, 1931 to the late Richard and Vickie Butts Cordle. Mrs. Anderson enjoyed fishing, going to church, and serving the Lord. She was a member of New Life Pentecostal Ministries.    

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Ander Anderson; son, Wayne Anderson; great-grandson, Devon Lolley; brother, Ralph Cordle, and one sister, Louise Jones.

She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Padgett of Geneva; six grandchildren, Renea Moulton (Scotty) of Elba, Kim Chamblee of Geneva, Jerry Anderson (Tracey) of Chipley, Candy Anderson of Hartford, Steven Padgett of Geneva, Tonia Anderson (John) of Cottonwood; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; special niece, Cathy Applewhite (Jim) of Columbus, GA; and many dear friends that she deeply loved.

The family would like to especially thank Tonia, her granddaughter, for the many dedicated hours she spent caring for her grandmother.
