Linda Ann Hobbs of Black, AL passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023. She was 78 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the Black Community Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Linda was born on September 9, 1944 to the late Hubert Charles and Marguerite Blalock Whitehead. Linda believed in hard work and she loved going fishing.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 1st husband, Jimmy Hobbs, 2^nd husband, Fred Henning; daughter, Linda Darlene Hobbs; one sister, Lola Ireson; two brothers, Paul and Charles Whitehead.

She is survived by two children, Mavis Sellers (John) of Black, AL, and Charles Hobbs (Destiny) of Esto, FL; eight grandchildren, Tanya Hedlund (John), Presley Skipper (Garet), Kaleb Hobbs, Hunter Hobbs, Sandra Newell (Kristopher), Samantha Benefield (Terry), Reeva Gibson (Chad), and Joshua Sellers; ten great-grandchildren, Reba, Damian, Alyssa, Aurora, Brittney, Krystal, Hemi, Levi, Kaitlyn, and Audrey; eight brothers and sisters, Evelyn Smith, Pauline Collins (Ronnie), Jan Goodman, Tom Whitehead (Joni), Diane McWaters (David), Pat Karter (Butch), Mike Whitehead (Gail), and Gail Aplin (Charles); many nieces and  nephews.
