Linda Azalee Durham Rose

Linda Azalee Durham Rose, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019. She was 75. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her honor to Sweet Briar College, Alumnae Relations and Development Office, PO Box 1057, Sweet Briar, VA 24595

Linda was born in Griffin, Georgia on September 1, 1944 to the late Elmer and Elizabeth Durham. With her father being in the military, Linda got to travel all over the country. She graduated from Illinois Masonic Medical Center School of Nursing as a Register Nurse. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening in her flowerbed, quilting, and reading.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Sandra Jean Webber.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Allen D. Rose; her children, Keith Rose and Laura (Chris) Martin; four grandchildren, Kyle Martin, Nathan Martin, Elizabeth Martin, and Jason Nail; one brother, William Durham; her faithful K-9 companions, Jingle and Jethro; and several nieces and nephews.
