Linda Fay Henderson passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022.  She was 78.           

A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Dr. Michael McQueen officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. continuing until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the S.O.S. Animal Shelter, 25944 AL-134, Enterprise, Alabama, 36330. 

Ms. Henderson was born September 29, 1944, to the late John C. and Minnie Lee Henderson.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters.  Linda would talk to anyone and found it easy to get to know people.  She loved being a part of this community, even opening the bowling alley in the late 70s.  She enjoyed time spent with her big family, and she loved her dogs, watching movies, and Elvis Presley.  Linda was a true American who loved her country. She was a lifelong member of Macedonia Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her daughters, Karen Kelley and Amber Drinkwater McKenzie (Jeffery), both of Enterprise; grandchildren, Jessica Wendel (Josh), Krystal McNally (Patrick), and Anna Birge (Justin); great-grandchildren, Brycen Wendel, Gibson McNally, Adaline Atwell, and Ally Mae Atwell; and brother, Byron Henderson.
