Linda Gail Mixon of Geneva, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 in a Dothan Hospital. She was 71 years old.

Graveside services will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2020 with Rev. Teddy Ward officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Linda was born in Montgomery, AL on January 14, 1949 to the late Horace Washington and Isabel Kirkland Galloway. Linda loved her family unconditionally. She was always there for her children and grandchildren. She especially enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s sporting events. Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and nana.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Bill Galloway.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 49 years, Henry E. Mixon of Geneva, AL; four children, Ricky Earl Mixon (Jennie) of Bowie, MD, Tracy Odell (Jerry), Jennifer Tindol, and Jason Mixon all of Geneva, AL; five grandchildren, Hayley Gonzalez (Sawyer), Timothy Odell, Ashely Odell, Alyssa Tindol, and Teagan Tindol; two great-grandchildren, Chase and Alice Gonzalez; four sisters, Betty Peters (Phillip) of Geneva, AL, Libby German of Westville, FL, Cathy Barnes (Randy) of Geneva, AL, Janet Ellenburg (Junior) of Westville, FL; one brother, Billy Galloway (Anna) of Geneva, AL; and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Chris Smith, Alan Brewer, David McQueen, Cecil Mixon, Jr., Charlie Barnes, and Sawyer Gonzalez.
