Linda Jean Vaughan of Samson, Alabama passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the age of 62.

Private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Linda was born in Geneva County Alabama on March 23, 1959 to late Lewis Lynn and Mary Nell Sewell Smith.  She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband; William Henry Vaughan, Geneva, Al; two sons; William Andrew “Andy” Vaughan, Cottonwood, Al; Donny Lee Vaughan (Alice), Samson, Al; Mother: Mary Nell Smith, Samson, AL; three granddaughters; Taylor Nicole Vaughan; Geneva, AL; Alaynah Vaughan, Samson, Al and Lyndsy Vaughan, Samson, Al; one brother; Frankie Smith, Samson, Al; and one sister; Geraldine Jordan (Frankie), Samson, Al.
