Linda Reber Bond, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at her residence. She was 76 years old.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Cedar Springs Baptist Church in Ashford with Rev. William Irwin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10-11 am.
Ms. Bond was born on February 16, 1946 in Ashford, Alabama and lived there the early years of her life. She was a graduate of Ashford High School and was employed with General Telephone for 27 years. Following her retirement, she continued working in customer relations. Ms. Bond loved being with her family, working in her garden, and watching Alabama Football.
Ms. Bond was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey & Myrtle Hopkins, her brothers, Bill Hopkins and Joel Hopkins.
Survivors include her sons, Brock (Paula) Baxley and Brad Bond; her grandchildren, Tyler (Stephanie) Baxley, Kristin Bond, and Jacob Bond; her sisters, Annette (Charlie) Wise, Shirley (Jack) Benton, and Joan (Buddy) Aughtman; her sister-in-law, Betty Hopkins; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family also survive. .
