Lisa Elizabeth Summerlin Mackrill, a resident of Brighton, Michigan, passed away November 22, 2022. She was 59.

Memorial services for close friends and family will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Winslette Chapel Church, 396 South County Road 9, Newton, AL 36352.

Mrs. Lisa was born December 4, 1962, in Geneva, Alabama, to Joyce Howell Smith and the late Charles William Summerlin, Sr. She attended and graduated from Dothan High School. After high school, she joined the military and met her true love, Allen Aaron Mackrill. She served in Germany for three years, before moving to Michigan. Lisa enjoyed exercising, cheering, and singing.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Mackrill is preceded in death by her sister, Donna Jo Summerlin Linder.

Leaving to cherish her memories are her mother, Joyce Howell Smith of Dothan; husband, Allen Aaron Mackrill; aunts, Lavaughn Howell Jordan and Elizabeth Howell Stewart; uncle Reverend Archie Duwain Howell (Brigitte); nephew Christopher G. Linder (Angie), and children, Chloe, Austin, Calvin, Aarin, Caden, and Aiden Linder; several nieces; several cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.
