IRONDALE, ALABAMA. . .Lois V. Green Hawkins, a resident of Irondale, Alabama, formerly of Dothan, died early Thursday afternoon, January 7, 2021, in Irondale. She was 93.

   Private graveside services for the family will be held Monday, January 11, 2021, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan, with Jamey Green officiating. Social distancing guidelines and masks will be observed. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

   Mrs. Hawkins was born in Pike County, Alabama and was reared between Headland & Midland City, daughter of the late Otis Green and Naomi Jinright Green. She lived in various locations while her husband served in the U. S. Air Force. She lived in Dothan for many years before moving to Irondale in 2016. Mrs. Hawkins was a member of the Sylvan Grove United Methodist Church, near Midland City.

   Surviving relatives include a son, Edwin Hawkins, Jr. (Catherine), Rainbow City, AL; numerous nieces and nephews.
