Lola Merle McDuffie West of Geneva, AL passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at her home. She was 94 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Lola was born in Geneva County, AL on March 28, 1929 to the late Daniel and Ella Roney McDuffie. She owned and operated Lola’s Beauty Salon in Geneva for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Maria West.

She is survived by her husband, T.D. West of Geneva, AL; son, Tim West of Pensacola, FL; and one granddaughter, Lexi West of Pensacola, FL.
