Lomeda V. Smith, 59, of Dothan, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Southeast Health following a brief illness.

The family will receive friends at Glover Funeral Home  from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 14. Flowers are being accepted.

Lomeda was born January 22, 1962 in Ozark, Alabama to John and Sue Vaughn and lived the early years of her life in Ozark. She was a graduate of Carroll High School and later attended Wallace Community College. Lomeda was the office administrator at Buffalo Rock for fifteen years and was an accounting assistant at Dothan Housing Authority for the past several years.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Brian A. Smith of Dothan; a brother, John Vaughn of Headland; a niece, Misty Bowman of Ozark; numerous nieces and nephews from South Carolina.
