Lonnell Jordan Mathis, age 79, passed away on June 23, 2023, her home in Gordon, AL.
A graveside service for Mrs. Mathis will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 3:00 PM CST at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery in Gordon, AL with Rev. Alan Myer and Rev. Barbara Ray officiating.
Mrs. Mathis was born in Gordon, AL on September 20, 2023, to Bryant Jordan and Lillie Williams Jordan. She was a was a homemaker and member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Gordon, AL.
She is survived by her children, Randy Mathis of Geneva, AL, Tammy Parker (Eddy) of Echo, AL and Pamela Mathis of Gordon, AL; her grandchildren, James Hollingsworth (Rhandi Hutchinson) of Birmingham, AL, Ashley Frechette, Tristan Willis, Payton Willis, and Ryan Willis all of Geneva, AL; her step-grandchildren, Ellie L. Parker (John Albriton) of Duram, NC and Amy M. Parker of Midland City, AL; and her brother, Harvey Jordan (Mary Sue) of Belle, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Mathis was preceded in death by her parents, Bryant Jordan and Lillie Williams Jordan; her husband, Joseph Randall Mathis, Sr.; as well as her siblings.
