LOREN PARSONS SPIVEY
DOTHAN….Loren Parsons Spivey, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021, at a Dothan Hospital. He was 14.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, February 21, 2021 at First United Methodist Church of Dothan with Reverend Jack Hinnen officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. before the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements. Covid-19 social distancing guidelines will be strongly enforced.
Loren Parsons Spivey was born at SEAMC on July 14, 2006 to his adoring parents, Jessica & Eric Spivey, along with his big sister Emma. His family describes Loren as being loving, caring, and very thoughtful, even from a young age. Loren loved all of his pets: the family cat, Zappa; and their 4 spaniels: Gus, Vada, River, and Bandit.
He enjoyed skateboarding and loved learning new tricks from a very young age. He began working on skateboarding with ramps as a toddler. His Grandaddy’s never hesitated to build him whatever ramp or stunt props Loren decided he wanted to try out that day.
Loren also loved to play guitar. He enjoyed music of all kinds, but lately he really enjoyed blaring Juice Wrld the most.
Loren enjoyed being adventurous, living life to the fullest, and using his talents to brighten people’s days. Loren was talented, smart, funny, creative, a wonderful artist.
Loren is survived by many members of his family… Mom, Jessica; Dad, Eric; and Big Sister, Emma. His “Grandaddy, Jr.” along with Great-Grandparents, Martha & Bobby Enfinger, Sr. of Blakely, Loren’s PawPaw, Greg Spivey and Great Grandmother Dorothy Hardwick. His Aunt Sarah, Uncle Spinks, and their 3 children: Ricky, Ridge, and Blue. As well as, his Aunt Erica & her husband Carl. His loving grandmothers, Janet and Vivian, are receiving Loren in Heaven.
The Spivey family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, support, and donations during this difficult time.
