Lorraine Braswell Nash passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020.  Lorraine was born in 1936 in Donalsonville, Georgia.  Her father, Ben Braswell, and her mother, Beatrice Benton Braswell, moved the family to Apalachicola, Florida.  Lorraine had two sisters, Annette Anthony and Linda Hutto, and three brothers, Wallace Braswell, Jimmy Braswell, and Harry Braswell.  Lorraine married Carl Lee Nash in 1953 and the couple had two sons, Christopher Carl Nash [Lani Nash] and Michael Lee Nash [Anita Nash]. She also had lots of loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jimmy, sister Linda, and her husband Carl.  Lorraine will be laid to rest in Geneva City Cemetery in Geneva, Alabama. The family will hold a celebration of life in late spring or early summer 2021.
