Louis Eckland of Enterprise, AL passed away July 30, 2023 at his home.  He was 71.

In keeping with Mr. Eckland’s wishes, there will be no services.

Mr. Eckland was preceded in death by his father Louis Alan Eckland, mother Barbara Ann Benjamin Eckland, and sister Lynda Louise Viera.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Nellie Belle Thompson Eckland; son, Harold Robert Starbird, Wasilla, AK; two sisters, Marla Ann Barnett (Larry), Corona, CA, and Debbie Susan Schweiger, Warrenton, MO; brother, Jim Eckland (Debbie), San Dimas, CA; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
