Louise B. Fountain of Geneva, AL passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. She was 89 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Earles and Bro. Larry Mock officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Louise was born in Opp, AL on March 27, 1932 to the late Richard Brooks and Rushie Mae Fleming Brooks Thrower. Louise worked at Clinton Mills and Fabrics America for 40 years. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Grover Fountain, Jr.; son, Jimmy Fountain; step-father, U.W. Thrower; and one brother, Robert Brooks.  

Louise is survived by one son, Mike Fountain (Brenda) of Geneva, AL; one daughter, Gail Whitehead (Mike) of Geneva, AL; grandchildren, Michele Sherrouse of Hartford, AL, Heather McClenny (James Bell) of Geneva, AL, Drew Fountain (Lauren) of Hartford, AL, Heath Fountain (Paige) of Samson, AL, and Anna Fountain (Brix Berry) of Auburn, AL; great-grandchildren, MaCayla McWherter (Robert), Caleb and Carson Sherrouse, Carly McClenny and her dad, Adam McClenny, Ella Grace, Ryles, Griffin, and Allie Kate Fountain, and one that is due in April 2022, Millie Drew Fountain; one great-great grandchild, Hayden McWherter; sister-in-law, Martie Brooks of Boomville, AR; and many special nieces and nephews.
