Louise Lowery Peters of Columbus, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at River Towne Center. She was 85 years old.

 

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Black Community Cemetery in Black, Alabama with Rev. Glenn Tate officiating and under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford.

She was born on September 8, 1934, in Geneva County, Alabama, to the late Mack and Mamie Adams Lowery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ineta Austin and Jewel Austin and brothers, Earl Lowery, Gerald Lowery, Leion Lowery, and Adolph Lowery.

She is survived by her children, Don Coker (Bernadette), Rick Coker (Gale) Loretta Martin (Chip), and Billy Peters; grandchildren, Lindsay Anderson (Brian), Zach Coker (Cheryl), Alex Coker, April Dale (David), Jonathan Coker, Kaleigh Coker, Stephen Coker (Amanda); 8 great grandchildren; and one brother, Ronny Lowery.
