Loyce Green, a devoted Christian, Wife, Mother, and Friend went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2019, after a long illness. She was born December 11, 1929 near Millers Cross Roads, Florida, the daughter of Zephie Nyre Birge and Claudee (Thomas) Birge.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Pastor Rodney Mitchell and Reverend Jerry Green officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Zephie and Claudee Birge; her husband, Allen A. Green; her four children, Billy Joe Green, Bobby Lynn Green, Debbie Loyce Green, and Patrick Lee Green; her grandson, Gregory Allen Green; three brothers, Buford Birge, Hubert Birge, and Milton Birge.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Zephie and Claudee Birge; her husband, Allen A. Green; her four children, Billy Joe Green, Bobby Lynn Green, Debbie Loyce Green, and Patrick Lee Green; her grandson, Gregory Allen Green; three brothers, Buford Birge, Hubert Birge, and Milton Birge.
She is survived by four children: three sons, Jimmy Ray Green, Jerry Allen Green, and Michael Dale Green; one daughter, Janice Marie Green; two brothers, James Robert Birge and Ray Neal Birge; one sister, Annie Ruth Williams; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
