MIDLAND CITY. . .Lula Hartzog Dease, a resident of Midland City, died Wednesday morning, January 18, 2023, in the Dale Medical Center in Ozark. She was 86.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Friday, January 20, 2023, in the Midland City Cemetery Reverend Joey Hudspeth officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Dease was born in Henry County and reared in Midland City where she lived most of her lifetime. She was retired from Northside WalMart. In earlier years, Ms. Dease was employed by Dothan Manufacturing Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Bright Hartzog and Evelvie Powers Hartzog, a grandson, Christopher Allen McKnight, a sister, Mattie White, and sons-in-law, Oscar Edwin Windham and Donnie Main.

Surviving relatives include two daughters, Patricia McKnight Windham, Midland City; and Donna Kaye Main, Daleville; two sons, Danny McKnight, Midland City; and Joe McKnight, Headland; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
