Luther Miller of Newville passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at his residence.  He was 84 years of age.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, November 17, 2014 in the chapel at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Reverend Rickey Devine officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00pm until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mr. Miller was born September 30, 1930 in Donalsonville, Ga. to Homer and Florence Anglin Miller.  He was a member of Ewell Faith Deliverance Tabernacle.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jeanette Miller of Newville; his sons, Richard Miller of Newville and Tony Miller of Midland City; his daughter, Sylvia Thomas (Billy) of Wimauma, FL; his sisters, Joann Miller of Ruskin, FL and Jerrie Bowman of Winterhaven, FL; his brothers, William Miller of Newville and Cecil Miller of Ruskin, FL; two grandchildren, Danita Thomas of Wimauma, FL and Daniel Thomas (Ivey) of Riverview, FL; two great-grandchildren, Lexxus and Haylee Thomas of Riverview, FL.
