Lynwood Aubrey Kyzer, 81, a resident of Ashford, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Southeast Health surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Tuscaloosa, AL., on July 3, 1941, to the late Robert E. Kyzer and Ollie (Swindell) Kyzer.


A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.


Aubrey was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He grew up in Panama City and graduated from Bay High School. He married the love of his life Myrtle in 1962, an anniversary of 60 years was celebrated this past September in the mountains. He spent many years as a route salesman for Meadow Gold and retired from Borden Dairies. You could find him camping, fishing, or traveling to the mountains with his family.  Aubrey enjoyed working on trucks with his son or aggravating his daughter about Alabama football and getting ice cream with his son in law. Aubrey enjoyed watching TV in his “junk house”, but his most priceless thing was being called “POP” by his grandsons.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Shaun Worley and a special mother-in-law, Mayve Hill.


Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Myrtle Kyzer, son, Dennis “Buddy Boy” Kyzer, daughter, Tina (Randy) Worley, sister, Betty Brannon, grandson, Zach Worley (fiancée Sydney), along with many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
