MABLE  BAREFIELD  HUTTO

HEADLAND. . .Mable "Mamie" Barefield Hutto, a resident of Headland, died Tuesday night, April 8, 2014, in a Dothan hospital. She was 65.

            Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 11, 2014, in the Worship Center of the First Baptist Church of Headland with Dr. Cecil M. Sanders, Jr. and Pastor Scott Moffitt officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the mortuary.

            Ms. Hutto lived most of her lifetime in the Headland area where she was a member of the First Baptist Church. Ms. Hutto was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie James Barefield and Mae McKee Barefield, a son, Martin O. Hutto, Sr., and two brothers, Willie James Barefield, and Billy Joe Barefield.  

            Surviving relatives include two daughters, Nicky Willis (Mike), Skipperville; and Ginger Trotter (Coty), Headland; a son, Martin (Bubba) Hutto, Jr. (Alicia), Dothan; four sisters, Sarah Helen Mathis, Beulah Davis, Pamela Sue Roberts, and Betty Davis; two brothers, Hilton Barefield and Jimmy Ray Barefield; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Teresa (LeAnn) Silvestro Parsons (Oscar); and her special canine friend, “Maverick”.
