Mable Byrd Grimes of the County Line Community passed away, Tuesday, October 18, 2011 in Southeast Alabama Medical Center.  She was 87.

           Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 20, 2011 at County Line Baptist Church with Dr. Danny Wiggins and Dr. Tharel Shirah officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to: County Line Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1000 Hwy 92,Enterprise,  AL 36330.

           Mrs. Grimes was preceded in death by her husband, Orell Grimes, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Epp Byrd and a brother, Carroll Byrd.

 

          Survivors include her son, Robert Allen (Bob) Grimes, Level Plains; grandson, Ryan Orell Grimes, Level Plains; brother, Billy Byrd (Patsy) Enterprise; sister, Vestalene Counts, Enterprise;  sister-in-law, Maudeline Byrd, Enterprise; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harris Grimes (Mary) Dothan; sister-in-law, Ruby Nell Penuel, Enterprise; brother-in-law, M. J. Grimes, Eufaula; numerous nieces and nephews.
