Malaila McKenzie Childs, 5 month old infant daughter of Sylvia Brightwell, became one of God’s angels on Sunday, July 12, 2015 in the arms of her mother.

Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 at Crestlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Friday prior to services.

In addition to her parents, Layla is survived by her 2 brothers, Logan and Caleb Brightwell; grandparents, Rebecca and Adrian Campbell; great-grandmother, Brenda Scott; and several aunts and uncles.
