Mamie Nell Chalker, 83, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Southeast Health. She was born in Coffee County on April 10, 1939, to the late Fred Waters and Mattie (McDaniel) Waters.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at Cloverdale United Methodist Church at a later date.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, A.D. Chalker, Jr., four brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include her son, Chuck (Carol) Bass, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a sister, Reta Miletich.
